When choosing between the ASUS Zenbook Duo and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H, consider your primary usage. For multitasking and general use, the ASUS with its dual-screen setup offers unique productivity advantages and is more portable with longer battery life, yet the Gigabyte has a larger screen and superior keyboard quality which may be better for intensive typing sessions. If your focus is on powerful 3D tasks, machine learning, or engineering software, the Gigabyte's high-performance GPU and processor provide better capabilities, but it's heavier and has shorter battery life, making it less ideal for frequent travel. Additionally, while the ASUS is suitable for gaming, the Gigabyte excels in this area with hardware optimized for intensive gaming and a high refresh rate screen. Both laptops have good build quality and an array of ports, but only the Gigabyte offers Ethernet and a higher number of RAM and storage expansion options. If price is a significant factor, the ASUS is generally the more cost-effective option. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | May 2020
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."

Peter Donnell | February 2023
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
