If you prioritize multitasking and innovation, the ASUS Zenbook Duo with its dual screens and a higher-resolution main display can be a great option, albeit it's more expensive and offers moderate battery life. On the other hand, the Gigabyte A5 boasts a dedicated graphics card suitable for gaming and 3D tasks, and it could be a better value pick if you're looking for a capable device at a lower cost. However, it's heavier, which affects portability, and the screen resolution is lower compared to the ASUS. Neither device excels in battery life, but for everyday tasks, both are equipped with enough power and memory. The ASUS is more portable and has a more color-accurate display, suited for creative professionals, while the Gigabyte is tailored towards gaming and could be more suitable if you're going to connect to external peripherals due to its array of ports. Consider what you value more: portability and screen quality or gaming performance and connectivity, in alignment with your budget. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) and the Gigabyte A5 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"Ignoring price, the Gigabyte A5 has a hard time against the similarly fast competition. Besides the loud noise in 3D mode (performance mode), the high temperature development of the components should be mentioned on the downside. Despite the relatively thick case, the laptop gets very warm and loud under load, which does not exactly speak for the cooling system. The plastic surfaces look rather cheap and also tend to rattle. In most other disciplines - be it the input devices, the screen, the connectivity or the battery runtime - the Gigabyte laptop does not stand out from the crowd, neither positively nor negatively. However, those who primarily pay attention to the price-performance ratio will get a pretty good offer with the Gigabyte A5."
