If you prioritize screen quality and multitasking capability, the ASUS Zenbook Duo with its dual screens and higher resolution might be the better option, especially with its touch capability and higher refresh rate for smoother visuals. It also has a higher color coverage which is beneficial for tasks that require color accuracy. However, it is slightly heavier and has a shorter battery life than the Dell Latitude 5431. If portability and longer battery life are more important to you, and you are looking for a business laptop with additional security features such as a fingerprint reader and facial recognition, then the Dell Latitude 5431 is the better option. It also has additional RAM and storage slots for future upgrades, and offers better heat management and fan noise levels which makes it more comfortable for extended use. It's priced lower but comes with a standard screen experience that lacks touch functionality, and has lower screen resolution and refresh rate. For intensive tasks and performance, both laptops offer midrange capabilities with the ASUS slightly leading due to its higher resolution screen, although the difference in their main processors might not translate into a significant performance gap for general usage. Neither of these laptops are primarily designed for intensive gaming, but the ASUS might provide a slightly better experience due to its screen's higher refresh rate. Weigh your need for screen features and multitasking against your desire for portability and a longer battery life to determine the best choice for you. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | May 2020
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
