If you prioritize top-tier performance, particularly for engineering tasks, and have a larger budget, the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 might be worth the investment; it offers much more storage, a more powerful processor for demanding applications, and a high-quality OLED display which is larger and sharper. However, it's less portable due to its greater weight. On the other hand, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is more affordable and lighter, making it better for carry-around use, and it still offers solid general performance with a unique dual-screen feature that could enhance multitasking. It also scores higher in heat management and portability, but its display and storage capacity are inferior compared to the Lenovo. Give Feedback

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 and ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI, though the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 is somewhat better.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 has an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU and a standard screen refresh rate, which provide fair gaming and 3D capabilities, while the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 is equipped with a dedicated AMD RX 6500M graphics card and offers better performance for gaming and 3D applications. Additionally, the ThinkPad's larger RAM capacity indicates better multitasking and potentially smoother performance in demanding tasks.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is only fair.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 stands out for engineering and design due to its higher RAM capacity, more powerful CPU and GPU, and superior OLED screen, whereas the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, while also competent, has less RAM, a less capable CPU and integrated graphics, and an IPS screen that doesn't match the ThinkPad's display quality. Additionally, the ThinkPad Z16 has a larger screen for detailed work, but this also makes it slightly heavier and less portable than the Zenbook Duo 14, which is more compact and lighter for on-the-go usage.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 has a panel that offers compelling resolution and brightness, making it visually comfortable for everyday tasks such as web browsing or document editing. In engineering and design, it delivers vibrant and accurate colors due to wide color gamuts, aiding tasks that need precise color representation, like photo editing or CAD work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, its refresh rate isn't as high as dedicated gaming laptops, which means it won't provide as smooth motion graphics, a key aspect for immersive gameplay and fluid 3D rendering.

How the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"Lenovo’s ThinkPad Z16 tries has some success in its effort to tweak the ThinkPad formula. The laptop is attractive, yet still tame, and material quality is on par with the best Windows competition. I also like the smooth, responsive haptic touchpad and the wide range of modern connectivity. Yet the Z16 doesn’t fix ThinkPad’s typical weakness: value. Starting around $1,550, and more typically near $1,700, the Z16 finds itself facing alternatives that have better performance or an improved display for the same price, or less."
