The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is only fair.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i outperforms the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 in gaming and 3D tasks mainly due to its superior Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate of 120, compared to the ASUS's integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and a 60 refresh rate. The IdeaPad Pro 5i's graphics card supports hardware ray tracing and DLSS, technologies that significantly improve visual fidelity and performance in games and 3D applications, which the Zenbook Duo's integrated GPU lacks.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is only fair.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i stands out for engineering and design work due to its more powerful CPU, higher RAM capacity, and superior Nvidia GPU, making it better suited for computationally heavy tasks, along with a higher-resolution and larger screen which is critical for detailed work. Meanwhile, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, while offering commendable screen quality and portability, falls short with its less capable integrated GPU and lower RAM, which may affect performance in demanding engineering applications and designs.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i stands out with superior panel type, resolution, and brightness, providing crisp visuals and comfortable viewing. In engineering and design, both laptops have good screens; however, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 might fall slightly short in color reproduction compared to the IdeaPad Pro 5i’s broader color gamuts. How the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5i represents an impressive opening salvo for Meteor Lake in the ultraportable space against familiar foes from AMD and Apple. Not only does the Core Ultra 5 125H processor provide good performance across the board, but battery life remains a strong point against the Acer Swift Edge 16 with its AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor. It can’t quite match the endurance of the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but the gap is shrinking."
