If performance for tasks like intensive engineering or content creation is a priority and you're willing to invest more, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, with its higher-end processor and better screen resolution, will deliver a smoother and more efficient experience. However, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 may be more suitable if you're looking for a budget-friendly option for basic tasks like web browsing, office applications, and media consumption. Although the Lenovo has a larger screen, it's of a lower resolution and quality than the ASUS. Also consider that the ASUS offers more advanced features like a secondary screen, which could enhance productivity for multitasking, at the cost of being less portable due to its weight. How the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15" compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is an enduring office notebook with a powerful Ryzen APU. Lenovo's office all-rounder easily handles office and internet applications as well as modest games - the Ryzen 5 5625U APU and 16 GB of RAM make this possible. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The emission values are okay, but the noise emissions should be lower under medium to full load. The relatively light notebook (approx. 1.6 kg) achieves practical battery runtimes of about 10 to 11 hours."
