If you prioritize multitasking and productivity, the ASUS Zenbook Duo with its dual screens offers a unique setup for complex workflows, but its innovative design makes it heavier, affecting portability. Conversely, if you seek a balance of performance and versatility, the HP Spectre x360's convertible design with a single touch screen is sleeker and easier to carry, ideal for general use and its stylus support is beneficial for creatives. The Spectre also typically boasts a longer battery life, which is important if you're often on the move and can't access a power outlet. Give Feedback

The HP Spectre x360 14 and ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI, though the HP Spectre x360 14 is somewhat better.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, with its additional screen, offers versatility but tends to have a lower screen refresh rate and less powerful GPU, making it less optimal for high-end gaming or complex 3D applications, though still usable for casual or mid-range tasks. The HP Spectre x360 14, while offering a high-quality screen and a good CPU, also falls short in GPU performance and refresh rates needed for the smoother visual experience demanded by serious gaming and 3D rendering.

The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, with its dual-screen setup, provides a unique advantage for multitasking and productivity, which can be beneficial for engineering and design tasks, but the HP Spectre x360 14 surpasses it with a typically more powerful CPU, GPU, and higher quality main display, crucial for demanding software in these fields. While the Zenbook's additional screen real estate and decent performance hardware could be enticing, the Spectre's superior core specs, combined with its 2-in-1 versatility and high-resolution touchscreen, offer a more potent solution for complex engineering and design workloads.

"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
"The numbers don’t lie — the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is a star, and a hell of a one at that. From performance to battery life, this machine is a dream. But why didn’t I give it a perfect score? Well, I wish the display performed better and that there were more ports to go around. If you’re itching for someone a little cheaper that offers a brighter display and significantly more battery life, I can only recommend the MacBook Pro 14 as a suitable substitute. Otherwise, the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is the perfect choice for those who want a reliable premium laptop."
