If performance is your priority, especially for gaming or demanding engineering software, the Dell Alienware m18 R1 offers a much more powerful processor and graphics card. The larger RAM and storage also mean it is better suited for intensive multitasking and large projects. However, this power comes at the expense of portability; it's larger, heavier, and has a shorter battery life, making it less ideal for frequent travel. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is lighter, has a longer battery life, and is more affordable, making it better suited for general use and carrying around. Its unique dual-screen design also offers additional productivity for multitasking, but it won't handle heavy gaming or engineering tasks as smoothly as the Alienware. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | May 2020
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | July 2023
"Dell's Alienware m18 delivers on its promises: This is a large, powerful gaming laptop with the premium flair and feel you expect from an expensive purchase. The drawbacks are really the price and battery life, which in context are reasonable. (We'd also like to see more ports on the laptop's sides.) This price tier exists for deep-pocketed enthusiasts, and if you’re considering anything in this range, the m18 isn’t an outlier. For the majority of shoppers, of course, all of these mighty 18-inch systems are likely too expensive."
