If you need a laptop with higher performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Razer Blade 15 with its advanced GPU should serve you well, but it's more expensive and heavier, which impacts portability. The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED is less expensive, lighter, and offers good color accuracy with its OLED screen, making it suitable for general use and some engineering tasks. It also has a longer battery life for typical use, enhancing its portability. However, its integrated graphics are less powerful, so it's not ideal for intensive gaming or heavy graphic tasks. The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED has a better screen than the Razer Blade 15 for general use, and engineering and design, while the Razer Blade 15 has a better screen for gaming and AI, and software development.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED and Razer Blade 15 both boast high resolution and bright displays which are ideal for general use, providing crisp and clear visuals for everyday tasks. For engineering and design professionals who require accurate color representation, these laptops offer wide color gamuts ensuring that the colors you see on screen are vibrant and true to life. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on these displays may lead to less fluid motion and responsiveness, which could detract from the immersive and fast-paced experience gamers and 3D designers seek.

The Razer Blade 15 and ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED are both good for general use.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED offers a vibrant OLED touchscreen display, with high brightness and color accuracy, ideal for everyday tasks; its lightweight design and reasonable battery life ensure portability, though it has less storage and processing power compared to the Razer Blade 15, which not only offers more RAM and storage but also superior processing performance due to its higher-end CPU and dedicated GPU, making it a stronger contender for performance-demanding tasks, albeit at the tradeoff of being heavier and having slightly less battery longevity. While both have high-quality screens and keyboards, the Razer Blade 15 stands out for gaming or resource-intensive applications due to its powerful components and additional features like hardware ray tracing, at the cost of reduced portability and battery life compared to the more travel-friendly ASUS Zenbook.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"While one of the more budget-friendly configurations of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED may make a compelling case as a top value pick, it’s difficult to be disappointed with the more expensive model we reviewed here. At its core, for all models, it’s a luxury-built laptop with extreme portability and a gorgeous OLED display. Our unit rocks with a snappy Core i9 processor for getting real work done, and the discrete GPU—even if it has a clear power ceiling—is a bonus for creative pros."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
