The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED offers better performance, a higher quality display with OLED technology, and is more suitable for color-critical work, such as photo editing, due to its excellent color coverage and contrast ratio. However, it is more expensive and has shorter battery life. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is more affordable, offers longer battery life making it better for on-the-go use, and is suitable for general use and less intensive tasks. The Lenovo also has a larger screen size, which can be more comfortable for viewing but makes the device less portable compared to the ASUS. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED is only fair for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is poor.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED has a higher screen refresh rate which is better for smooth visuals in gaming and 3D applications, whereas the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3, despite having a capable CPU and GPU for light gaming and 3D tasks, offers a lower screen refresh rate resulting in less fluid motion. Screen quality on the ASUS is superior with an OLED display which provides deeper blacks and vibrant colors, adding to the visual fidelity important in gaming and 3D rendering, compared to the Lenovo's IPS screen which is still decent but does not match the OLED's performance.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED boasts a high-resolution OLED screen with vivid colors, making it ideal for tasks requiring precise color reproduction like engineering and design, and provides sharp and bright visuals for general use. However, its refresh rate is typically lower than dedicated gaming laptops, hindering performance in fast-paced 3D games. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 offers an adequate display for everyday tasks and work in engineering and design with reasonable color accuracy and brightness, though it lacks the superior color gamut and high refresh rates needed for optimal gaming and design precision.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 compare to other laptops
"While one of the more budget-friendly configurations of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED may make a compelling case as a top value pick, it’s difficult to be disappointed with the more expensive model we reviewed here. At its core, for all models, it’s a luxury-built laptop with extreme portability and a gorgeous OLED display. Our unit rocks with a snappy Core i9 processor for getting real work done, and the discrete GPU—even if it has a clear power ceiling—is a bonus for creative pros."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
