The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED is a more affordable and highly portable laptop with good performance for general use and its OLED screen offers excellent colors and resolution. If portability and cost are your main concerns, along with quality everyday computing, this might be a suitable choice. On the other hand, the Dell Alienware m18 R1 is significantly more expensive and heavier but offers powerful performance for demanding tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming due to its high-end processor and graphics. This would be the better option if you need a workstation replacement and gaming performance and are less concerned about budget and portability. Give Feedback

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | September 2023
"While one of the more budget-friendly configurations of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED may make a compelling case as a top value pick, it’s difficult to be disappointed with the more expensive model we reviewed here. At its core, for all models, it’s a luxury-built laptop with extreme portability and a gorgeous OLED display. Our unit rocks with a snappy Core i9 processor for getting real work done, and the discrete GPU—even if it has a clear power ceiling—is a bonus for creative pros."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | July 2023
"Dell's Alienware m18 delivers on its promises: This is a large, powerful gaming laptop with the premium flair and feel you expect from an expensive purchase. The drawbacks are really the price and battery life, which in context are reasonable. (We'd also like to see more ports on the laptop's sides.) This price tier exists for deep-pocketed enthusiasts, and if you’re considering anything in this range, the m18 isn’t an outlier. For the majority of shoppers, of course, all of these mighty 18-inch systems are likely too expensive."
