The ASUS Zenbook 14X is more affordable and offers better performance for 3D, machine learning, and general usage with a dedicated graphics card, plus it has a higher screen refresh rate suitable for fast motion. It is slightly heavier but still portable, with a moderate battery life. The LG Gram 17 is pricier with a larger screen and substantial battery life, ideal for general use and engineering tasks; it's very lightweight, enhancing portability. The LG's larger RAM and storage cater to extensive multitasking and data storage needs, but it relies on integrated graphics, making it less suitable for intensive gaming or 3D work. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the LG Gram 17 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the LG Gram 17 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X offers a high resolution and bright panel that enhances sharpness and visibility for general tasks, while its wider color gamut supports precise color work in engineering and design. However, its lower refresh rate limits graphic fluidity, making it less ideal for gaming and 3D applications. Conversely, the LG Gram 17 provides a large, bright display with good resolution for immersive general use and sufficient color range for most design tasks, but it also falls short in refresh rate, which is crucial for the smooth rendering required in gaming and 3D work.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the LG Gram 17 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
