The ASUS Zenbook 14 is a compelling choice if you prioritize a vibrant OLED display with superior color accuracy and higher resolution, which is excellent for media consumption and light gaming. It's also more portable due to its smaller size and longer battery life, making it ideal for on-the-go use. However, it falls short in gaming and intensive tasks like 3D rendering or machine learning due to its less powerful Intel i5 processor and integrated graphics. On the other hand, the Lenovo LOQ 15i offers a significant performance boost for demanding tasks with its more powerful Intel i7 processor and dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card, which is better suited for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. It also has more RAM and storage, and additional ports for connectivity, including Thunderbolt support. The tradeoff is its larger and heavier design, shorter battery life, and a standard IPS display that, while not as impressive as the ASUS's OLED, still offers a high refresh rate for smoother visuals. In summary, choose the ASUS Zenbook 14 for its outstanding display and portability if you mainly do general computing tasks. Opt for the Lenovo LOQ 15i if you need stronger performance for gaming and professional workloads, accepting its bulkier design and lesser battery endurance. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | August 2022
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."

PCMag

Mark Knapp | August 2023
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
