If affordability is a priority and you’re seeking a laptop for everyday tasks, the ASUS Zenbook 14 is a solid option. In contrast, if you need a laptop for more demanding tasks such as video editing or advanced computing and don’t mind spending extra, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro offers higher performance capabilities. Bear in mind, the Lenovo may also have a more vibrant display and potentially longer battery life, beneficial for on-the-go use, but this could make it less portable than the lighter, more compact ASUS. For those who game or perform graphics work, check if the models you consider have dedicated graphics, as it will greatly enhance visual performance. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
When considering screen quality for general use, both the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro excel due to their high-resolution displays and bright panels that offer clear and vivid images, enhancing everyday tasks like browsing, video streaming, and document editing. For engineering and design, these laptops provide accurate colors and wide color gamut coverage, ensuring that professionals see true-to-life representations, which is critical for precise design work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on these models may result in less fluid motion and longer response times, leading to a less optimal gaming experience where smoother visuals are crucial.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and ASUS Zenbook 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro are both considered fair for gaming and 3D tasks because they share similar integrated GPUs which can handle moderate graphics demands but are not ideal for high-end gaming or intensive 3D work. Both have high screen refresh rates, which provide smoother visuals, yet they also depend on the same class of CPUs and have comparable screen quality, factors which somewhat limit their performance in these demanding scenarios.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro compare to other laptops
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
