The Asus Zenbook 14 is more affordable and generally provides a balance of performance and portability, which is handy for everyday use and carrying around. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H, due to its larger size and probable higher specifications, is likely to offer superior performance suitable for gaming, 3D modeling, and intensive engineering tasks. However, it will be less portable and probably have a shorter battery life compared to the Zenbook. If portability and price are your main concerns, go with the Asus. If you need high performance for demanding tasks and don't mind the extra cost and lower portability, the Gigabyte would be a better choice. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook 14 is only fair.
The Asus Zenbook 14, while having a decent CPU and screen quality, is limited by its GPU and modest screen refresh rate, which makes it acceptable for casual gaming and 3D tasks. In contrast, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H is equipped with a high-end GPU and a superior screen refresh rate, supporting more demanding gaming and 3D applications, though it's generally more expensive and less portable due to its size and power considerations.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Zenbook 14 is good.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 is suited for engineering and design due to its high-resolution OLED screen and capable CPU for handling design tasks, but the Gigabyte Aorus 17H edges out with a more powerful CPU and GPU, more RAM, and larger screen size which is crucial for engineering simulations and graphic-intensive work, albeit being less portable and noisier under load. While the Zenbook excels in portability and screen color accuracy, the Aorus 17H offers a broader set of engineering capabilities at the expense of greater weight and thickness.

The ASUS Zenbook 14 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H for general use, and engineering and design, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen for gaming and AI, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 offers a crisp, high-resolution display with ample brightness, making it suitable for tasks like browsing, document editing, and media consumption. For engineering and design work, the Zenbook's accurate color representation across various color gamuts ensures that the visual output closely matches the intended designs. However, for gaming and 3D applications which require smooth motion, the Zenbook falls short due to its modest refresh rate despite its decent resolution and panel technology.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
