The ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED offers a vibrant OLED display with superior color accuracy and higher brightness, making it ideal for visual tasks and media consumption. It's also slightly more powerful for engineering tasks with its Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and dedicated Intel Arc GPU, though it has less RAM than the XPG. The ASUS is a bit pricier and heavier, but it comes with Windows 11 Home and has a sleek design without a gaming aesthetic. In contrast, the XPG Xenia 14 provides more RAM, which is beneficial for multitasking and memory-intensive applications, and it's usually slightly less expensive. However, its IPS display, while still good, doesn't match the OLED's color performance, and it has a lower DCI-P3 coverage. The XPG also has a more comprehensive range of ports, including Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C (Non-Thunderbolt), which could be crucial for connectivity. It runs on Windows 10 Home and has a more subdued design, which might appeal to those who prefer a less flashy look. Ultimately, if you prioritize display quality and performance for tasks like photo editing or light engineering work, the ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED is the better choice. However, if you need more RAM for heavy multitasking or prefer a wider port selection and are looking to save a bit of money, the XPG Xenia 14 would be more suitable. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | July 2021
"The Xenia 14 is a top 14-inch laptop under 1 kg. ADATA isn't exactly known for its laptops and so we weren't expecting much from its first 14-inch Ultrabook. With that said, we're pleasantly surprised by how well the Xenia 14 looks and performs. Not only is it incredibly light, but it has a color accurate 16:10 display, high CPU and GPU performance, easy RAM and SSD serviceability, plenty of port options including Thunderbolt 4, and long battery life. It packs a lot of punch and features considering the size and weight to be better than even the LG Gram series."
