For a balance of performance and portability with a vibrant OLED display, the ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED is a strong contender. It offers a newer Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and dedicated Intel Arc graphics, which will serve you well in general use and light gaming or creative work. The 14-inch screen with a higher resolution and pixel density provides crisp visuals, though the aspect ratio is more suited for productivity than entertainment. Its compact size and lightweight design make it ideal for on-the-go use, and the inclusion of Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C charging adds to its convenience. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360, with its 2-in-1 design, offers versatility for those who value a touchscreen and the ability to convert into a tablet. It has a larger 15.6-inch display, which might be preferable for entertainment and productivity, although the resolution is standard HD. The Samsung also boasts more RAM, which will benefit multitasking, and the Iris Xe integrated graphics are suitable for everyday tasks. The battery life is slightly shorter than the ASUS, but the overall build quality and keyboard are excellent. If you prioritize a high-quality display, better performance in creative tasks, and portability, the ASUS is the way to go. However, if you want a versatile 2-in-1 with a larger screen and more RAM for multitasking, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 would be a better fit. Give Feedback

Trusted Reviews

Adam Speight | July 2023
"The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 360 isn’t a laptop that the Korean manufacturer has shouted from the rooftops about, and it seems to have gotten little attention from anywhere. But, it is absolutely a laptop worth paying attention to. Compared to higher-priced devices, like the Dell XPS 13 (2022) and Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023), it manages to offer a similar day-to-day experience despite the price difference. It’s really hard to justify the extra cash unless a boosted display is a requirement of yours."
