The ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED offers a lower midrange price with a high-quality OLED screen, making it a great value for general use and multimedia consumption, especially if you're budget-conscious. Its performance is solid for everyday tasks, and the laptop is quite portable due to its lightweight design. However, its battery life is average, and it may not excel in intensive tasks like gaming or engineering work due to its more modest GPU and limited upgrade options. On the other hand, the HP Spectre x360 14, while pricier, provides a premium experience with its 2-in-1 convertible design, high-resolution touchscreen, and superior color accuracy, which is ideal for creative professionals who need a versatile device. It also boasts better battery life and a more robust build quality. The Spectre's performance is comparable to the ASUS for general use, but it really shines with its superior screen for fast motion and engineering tasks, thanks to its higher refresh rate and resolution. It's also more suitable for intensive gaming and has better heat management. If you're willing to invest more for these enhanced features and performance, the HP Spectre x360 14 would be the better choice. Give Feedback

Rami Tabari | February 2024
"The numbers don’t lie — the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is a star, and a hell of a one at that. From performance to battery life, this machine is a dream. But why didn’t I give it a perfect score? Well, I wish the display performed better and that there were more ports to go around. If you’re itching for someone a little cheaper that offers a brighter display and significantly more battery life, I can only recommend the MacBook Pro 14 as a suitable substitute. Otherwise, the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is the perfect choice for those who want a reliable premium laptop."
