If budget is a concern and your needs are basic, such as web browsing and document editing, the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 offers a more affordable option yet with less storage and lower performance. However, for more demanding tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Lenovo Slim 7 16 provides a significant performance boost, a better display with touchscreen capability, larger and faster storage, and higher RAM capacity, albeit at a higher price point. The Lenovo also has a longer battery life and overall better build and screen quality, making it more suited for intensive tasks and multimedia consumption, but it is slightly heavier, which may impact portability. Trusted Reviews

Josh Brown | January 2024
"The Asus Vivobook Go 15 is a good option if you’re looking for one device to tackle a bunch of smaller problems. For simple school studies, portable evening entertainment or distractions, and getting household admin or light office workloads out of the way, it’s a great little package with respectable battery life, and a great contender for the advent of cloud gaming."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | March 2022
"At $1,011, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro is a real bargain among full-sized laptops, with a handsome 16-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio touch screen, a speedy CPU, a comfortable keyboard, ample memory, and a roomy solid-state drive. It's not a blazing gaming rig or mobile workstation, but it doesn't pretend to be. Its biggest negative is that it may be hard to find—during our review, it sold out and was marked "Temporarily Unavailable" on Lenovo's site."
