The ASUS Vivobook Go 15 is more budget-friendly and offers decent performance for everyday tasks, boasting a lightweight design that enhances portability. However, it has less storage and memory, and its processor is less powerful, which might not be suitable for more demanding software or multitasking. In contrast, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H is a more premium option, with a high-performance processor and graphics card suited for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering work. Its larger screen and battery also offer an enhanced viewing experience but at the cost of reduced portability due to its larger size and weight. Opt for the ASUS if you prioritize affordability and portability for general use, or choose the Gigabyte if performance and high-end features are your top concerns, especially for graphics-intensive tasks. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 15 with its lower-tier Intel Celeron processor and mere 4GB of RAM struggles in performance compared to the Gigabyte Aorus 17H, which boasts a powerful Intel i7 processor and 16GB of RAM, making it well-suited for a wider range of general use cases. Furthermore, while the Vivobook offers convenience in portability due to its lighter weight, the Aorus 17H compensates for its heavier build with a superior quality display, longer battery life, and better overall build quality, enhancing the user experience for general tasks.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H offers a vivid, high-resolution display with great brightness, making it excellent for everyday tasks like browsing the web and watching videos, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 has a lower quality display that might not be as clear or bright. In engineering and design, the Gigabyte's display covers a wide range of colors, making it suitable for precise color work, but while the ASUS also supports color-critical work, its color range and accuracy are less impressive. When it comes to gaming and 3D, the Gigabyte laptop falls short despite its good resolution and panel type because it lacks a high refresh rate, which is crucial for a smooth visual experience, whereas these features are less crucial for the ASUS in this context since its screen quality is not tailored for these activities anyway.

"The Asus Vivobook Go 15 is a good option if you’re looking for one device to tackle a bunch of smaller problems. For simple school studies, portable evening entertainment or distractions, and getting household admin or light office workloads out of the way, it’s a great little package with respectable battery life, and a great contender for the advent of cloud gaming."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
