If you're seeking a cost-effective option for basic tasks like web browsing, the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is the more affordable choice, and it's lighter and more compact, making it easy to carry. However, if you need a laptop for gaming, 3D rendering, or other intensive tasks, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H provides significantly higher performance with advanced graphics capabilities, a more powerful processor, and a larger, higher-quality display, but comes with a higher price tag and less portability due to its larger size and weight. The Aorus also offers a better display and key features for gaming such as a higher refresh rate and a backlit keyboard. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 12 lacks the processing power for demanding tasks due to its basic CPU and limited RAM, and has a lower-quality screen, but it's lightweight and has excellent battery life for mobility. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H offers a powerful CPU, ample RAM, and superior screen quality suitable for a broader range of general use, albeit at the expense of heavier weight and shorter battery life.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, where clarity and comfort are key, the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 falls short with a screen that lacks sharpness and brightness, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H shines with a high-resolution, bright display. In engineering and design, accurate color representation is vital, and the Aorus 17H's screen boasts a substantial color range necessary for precise work, a feature the Vivobook's screen does not adequately provide. Gaming and 3D applications demand fluid motion, and despite the Aorus 17H's adequate resolution and panel type, its lower refresh rate hampers responsiveness, which is less of a concern for the Vivobook, given its overall lower screen performance.

"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
