Consider the ASUS Vivobook 16X if high performance is crucial for activities like gaming, 3D work, or machine learning, as it features a robust processor and dedicated graphics. It offers a larger screen with a higher refresh rate, which can enhance viewing and gaming experiences but comes with added bulk making it less portable. The Dell Inspiron 15 3511, on the other hand, provides a balance of efficiency and cost-effectiveness, with a lesser memory and storage capacity and integrated graphics suitable for everyday tasks. It's lighter, making it easier to carry around, with a longer battery life for on-the-go use but may not handle intensive tasks as smoothly as the Vivobook. If budget constraints are a primary concern, the Inspiron might be the more sensible choice, as it offers a good balance of features for general use without the premium cost of the ASUS Vivobook 16X. Kok Kee | February 2023
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."

PCMag

Zachary Cuevas | November 2021
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
