If you prioritize portability and longer battery life for general use, the LG Ultra 13 is a solid choice with its lighter weight and superior battery performance. However, if you require more storage and a larger screen which can be more suitable for engineering tasks or 3D applications, the ASUS Vivobook 16 provides these features, albeit with a heavier build and shortened battery life. Both laptops offer 16 GB of RAM and comparable AMD Ryzen 7 processors, but the LG has a slightly older generation CPU. Neither is designed for intensive gaming but can handle light gaming with their integrated Vega graphics. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook 16 has a better screen than the LG Ultra 13 for content creation, while the LG Ultra 13 has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
For general use, where clarity, sharpness, and comfortable brightness matter most, the LG Ultra 13's superior resolution and panel quality offer a crisper and more vibrant display compared to the ASUS Vivobook 16. The LG's display advantage extends to engineering and design tasks, which benefit from its wider color gamut ensuring more accurate color reproduction, essential for detailed work. However, both the ASUS and LG fall short for gaming and 3D applications, as their screens don't have the high refresh rates required for smooth motion and rapid response times.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
