Choosing between the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i depends on your priorities. The ASUS Vivobook is a bit less expensive and offers a larger screen size, which is beneficial for multitasking and media consumption, but this comes with increased weight and size, making it less portable than the Lenovo. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i has a higher battery capacity, providing longer usage between charges, and it's lighter and thinner, enhancing its portability. For performance, both devices have similar capabilities with satisfactory results for general use, but if portability and battery life are crucial for your workflow, the Lenovo might suit you better, whereas if you prioritize a larger screen and better value, consider the ASUS. Both options provide quality keyboards, but the Lenovo is noted to have a slight edge in this regard. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"Among Lenovo's multiple laptop brands, the IdeaPad family is decidedly the one designed for consumers: people who want decent performance at a reasonable price. Consider, then, this laptop a paragon for the pickier members of that crowd. With a 14-inch touch-enabled display, a comfortable keyboard, an Evo-certified Intel Core i7 11th Generation CPU, and the latest Windows 11 operating system, the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro ultraportable ($1,199 as tested) is a slick mainstream machine at a bit of a premium price, and quite capable for everyday tasks."
