To assist you in choosing between the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the HP 17" Laptop, consider the following aspects. If you prioritize performance for tasks like 3D modeling, machine learning, or demanding engineering software, the ASUS with its likely higher specs is a good choice, but its larger and heavier design makes it less portable. On the other hand, if you prefer a more portable and lighter laptop for general use, and can sacrifice some performance, then the HP with its larger screen could be suitable, especially if battery longevity is essential for you. Keep in mind that the higher performance of the ASUS might come with a steeper price tag compared to the HP, which could offer moderate performance at a more budget-friendly price. Choose the ASUS for high-demand tasks or the HP for general use with better battery life and portability. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the HP 17" Laptop compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"As far as starter laptops go, the HP Laptop 17 is a sound investment. Sure, it might not be the lightest of options, but what you get for the price is a well-rounded machine that fits multiple niches. Whether it be office duties that require you to multi-task between multiple programs, or study tasks in which you’ll spend hours browsing online, this laptop does it all. Plus, when it's time to unwind, you can watch your favorite shows or movies on a super-wide display. What's best of all is that you can do all this for about half a day on a single charge."
