The ASUS Vivobook 16 is somewhat less expensive than the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus and offers better battery life, making it more suited for those who prioritize cost-efficiency and longer use without charging. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus, while somewhat more expensive, comes with a higher-resolution display and better build quality, which might appeal to users who want a more premium look and sharper screen. While both have similar storage and memory, they have different processors; the Dell's processor is better suited for intensive tasks like engineering and 3D work. However, the ASUS is slightly larger but lighter, and both have comparable portability. Choose the ASUS for longer battery life and a lighter build, or the Dell for better performance in demanding applications and a higher-quality display. Give Feedback

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."

Allen Ngo | August 2022
"The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is for power users on a budget. If you're looking to maximize CPU and GPU performance on your next 14-inch laptop, then consider the pricier Razer Blade 14 or Asus Zephyrus G14. If you're looking for a thin-and-light 14-inch Ultrabook, then the Asus Zenbook 14 or LG Gram 14 may be better options. For the best of both worlds, however, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7420 rides a fine line between extreme performance and portability while keeping prices at reasonable levels. Frequent travelers who rely on performance beyond what the Core U-series and integrated graphics series can offer will find the Dell to be a solid solution."
