The ASUS Vivobook 15 is a budget-friendly option suitable for basic tasks like browsing and office work, but its performance for intensive tasks is limited. It has a modest battery life and is somewhat portable. The Razer Blade 14, being much pricier, offers high performance that's excellent for engineering, 3D work, and gaming. It also comes with more storage, memory, and a better display with a higher resolution. However, it's slightly heavier and typically would be less battery efficient due to its powerful hardware, yet it still has a longer battery life than the ASUS. If cost isn't a concern and you need high performance, the Razer Blade 14 is the better choice; otherwise, the ASUS Vivobook 15 could meet your needs for less money. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 14 (2023) is very good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The Razer Blade 14 excels in general use due to its superior AMD Ryzen 9 processor, double the RAM, and higher-resolution, brighter display compared to the ASUS Vivobook 15, which is suitable but more basic with an Intel i3 processor, less RAM, and a lower-resolution display. Despite the Vivobook's lighter weight and good portability, the Razer offers better overall performance and longevity with its longer battery life, though at a higher weight, marking it as the more advanced option.

The Razer Blade 14 (2023) is very good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The Razer Blade 14 offers superior gaming and 3D performance due to its high-end Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a screen with a much higher refresh rate, providing smoother visuals, compared to the ASUS Vivobook 15, which has a basic Intel UHD Graphics chip and a standard refresh rate display. While the ASUS is a more budget-friendly option suitable for casual use, the Razer Blade 14, equipped with a more powerful CPU and better screen quality, is designed for more demanding tasks and gaming experiences.

The Razer Blade 14 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15's screen, while suitable for browsing and office tasks due to its decent resolution and brightness, lacks wide color gamut coverage which is crucial for the nuanced color work required in engineering and design. The Razer Blade 14, on the other hand, boasts a high-resolution, bright display with excellent color accuracy, making it ideal for professional creative work, but its standard refresh rate may not satisfy gamers and 3D modelers, who typically look for faster refresh rates for smoother visuals. Both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D tasks, where screens with higher refresh rates are typically needed to provide the most fluid and responsive experience.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Razer Blade 14 (2023) compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"After making a huge splash with the original 2021 model, it's expected that the 2022 refresh would be more of a minor update to an already impressive machine. It adds a higher resolution webcam (720p to 1080p), faster CPU (Ryzen 9 5900HX to Ryzen 9 6900HX), faster GPU (RTX 3070/3080 to 3070/3080 Ti), faster RAM (DDR4-3200 to DDR5-4800), faster M.2 SSD support (PCIe3 x4 to PCIe4 x4), newer WLAN module (Killer AX1690i to Qualcomm WCN685x), and a MUX switch for the new integrated Radeon 680M GPU. It's indubitably an upgrade especially in terms of single-thread processor performance."
