If you're looking for a laptop to perform daily tasks like browsing the web, using office applications, and watching videos, the Asus Vivobook 15 may suit you with its more affordable price and decent performance. However, if you're into heavy gaming, 3D modeling, or machine learning, the MSI Titan 18 HX offers superior performance that can handle these demands, though it comes with a higher price and is less portable due to its size and weight. Between the two, the MSI has a shorter battery life but much more power, while the Asus is more budget-friendly, lighter, and better for on-the-go use. Give Feedback

The MSI Titan 18 HX is very good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers a balance between portability and performance with a decent CPU and RAM for everyday tasks, a good screen, and longer battery life, making it suitable for users who prioritize mobility and battery endurance over raw power. In contrast, the MSI Titan 18 HX, with a superior CPU and more RAM, excels in demanding tasks and provides a higher screen quality for better visuals, but its size and shorter battery life make it less portable and more suited for stationary use or as a desktop replacement.

The MSI Titan 18 HX is excellent for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 has modest graphics capabilities suitable for casual gaming and basic 3D tasks, whereas the MSI Titan 18 HX, with a more powerful GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, excels in high-end gaming and 3D applications. While both have capable CPUs and good screen quality, the Titan's superior specs make it the preferred choice for demanding gaming and 3D work, yet at a higher cost and less portability than the Vivobook.

The MSI Titan 18 HX is best in class for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 15, with more modest CPU, RAM, and GPU specs, is adequately equipped for engineering tasks, but it doesn't match the MSI Titan 18 HX's more advanced hardware and superior screen quality, which excels in intensive applications and detailed visuals. While the Vivobook is lighter and easier to carry, the MSI Titan's larger size and weight reflect its higher performance capabilities, along with a better keyboard and quieter operation that might appeal more to power users despite being less portable.

The MSI Titan 18 HX has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the MSI Titan 18 HX offers a superior visual experience due to its high-resolution display and excellent brightness, making text and images sharper and easier to see in various lighting conditions. When it comes to engineering and design, this laptop's wide color gamuts ensure accurate color representation, crucial for precise design work. However, for 3D applications, where high refresh rates are paramount for smooth rendering and less motion blur, the Titan's lower refresh rate might not meet the needs of gamers or professionals in animation and real-time 3D modeling.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"With no new Nvidia GPU this year for laptops, MSI had to refresh everything surrounding the graphics card to make up for it. Users are getting a new 18-inch chassis design, new 14th gen Intel HX CPU, new AC adapter, larger keys, and a new 120 Hz HDR1000 mini-LED 4K display to accompany the high price tag. Most of these changes are a step up from last year's GT77, but users are ultimately getting the same gaming performance out of both models."
