The ASUS Vivobook 15 is less expensive and provides an adequate performance for general use, but if you require higher performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or engineering work, the MSI Prestige 14 with its stronger processor and more RAM is the better option, albeit at a higher cost. The MSI Prestige also has a better build quality and longer battery life, making it suitable for longer work sessions without charging. However, if you prioritize portability and a lighter weight for easier carrying, the ASUS Vivobook may appeal to you despite its lower performance capabilities and shorter battery life. Both laptops are not suitable for intensive gaming and lack dedicated graphics cards, so if gaming is important, you may want to consider other options. Give Feedback

The MSI Prestige 14 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15, while having a reasonable resolution and brightness, may disappoint due to its panel type which may not produce colors as vibrantly as other options, affecting both general and engineering users who might seek a more vivid display for tasks. The MSI Prestige 14 stands out for its superior color reproduction and higher resolution, making it a better fit for engineering and design work where color accuracy and clarity are crucial. However, for 3D applications and gaming, both models might fall short as they do not prioritize high refresh rates, which is key for a smooth visual experience in fast-paced scenes.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the MSI Prestige 14 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The MSI Prestige 14” is excellent for productivity and business use cases, but it is not ideal for creators or visual content editors. The Prestige was able to power through days of email, spreadsheets, and text documents without breaking a sweat and was a joy to use. The additional ports were a breath of fresh air, as most laptops seem to be moving towards just Thunderbolt ports. The security options made signing in effortless, with two quick, more secure, and faster options than even the most complex alphanumeric passcode."
