The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo is very good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 15, with modest CPU and RAM, is suitable for basic tasks but may falter with intensive applications, while its bulkier build and average battery life compromise on portability. In contrast, the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo offers a superior screen, powerful CPU, and longer battery life in a compact form, making it excellent for demanding programs and travel-friendly for users needing high performance on the go.

The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo is only fair for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 and MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo are adequate for gaming and 3D applications because they equipped with GPUs that can handle moderate gameplay and 3D workloads decently, although not at the highest settings or frame rates due to limitations in their screen refresh rates. The Vivobook tends to have a larger screen which may offer a better visual experience for some users, while the Prestige's advantage lies in its portability and high-quality display, coupled with a capable CPU that supports general productivity and multitasking efficiently.

The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers decent capabilities for engineering tasks with its adequate CPU, RAM, and respectable screen quality, but its GPU may not handle demanding design software as smoothly. On the other hand, the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo, with its stronger CPU and GPU, ample RAM, and superior screen display, is more suitable for complex engineering and design work, though it comes at a higher price and may be less portable due to its build.

The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 has a screen that's suitable for general use and engineering tasks, with adequate resolution and brightness combined with a decent color range, but for gaming and 3D applications it falls short due to a lower refresh rate. The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo, with a high-resolution display and superior brightness, excels in presenting sharp and vibrant visuals for both general and engineering uses, thanks to its wide color gamut coverage. However, like the ASUS, it's not ideal for gaming and 3D work because the refresh rate isn't high enough for the smooth visuals these activities often require.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
