If you prioritize budget-friendliness and portability for general use, the ASUS Vivobook 15 is the more economical option and slightly more portable. However, if you require high performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the MSI Bravo 15, with its more powerful processor and dedicated gaming-grade graphics card, could be the better choice, despite being more expensive and less portable. Both laptops have similar battery life, but the MSI Bravo 15 offers a higher screen refresh rate, which can be important for fast-paced gaming or smoother visuals. For tasks like engineering software or intensive workloads, the MSI's superior performance will be advantageous. Give Feedback

The MSI Bravo 15 is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 is rated fair for general use due to its adequate RAM and CPU combo for everyday tasks, a quality IPS screen, but it has limited storage and a shorter battery life, making it less ideal for long usage away from power sources. On the other hand, the MSI Bravo 15, also rated fair for general use, offers better graphics performance with a dedicated GPU, a higher capacity battery, and more storage space, but it is heavier and less portable, which could make it less convenient for on-the-go use.

The MSI Bravo 15 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The MSI Bravo 15 offers superior gaming and 3D performance as it comes equipped with a Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate of 144Hz, which provides smoother visuals and is better suited for fast-paced games than the ASUS Vivobook 15, which has an Intel UHD Graphics with a 60Hz screen refresh rate.

The MSI Bravo 15 is good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The MSI Bravo 15 is better suited for engineering and design tasks than the ASUS Vivobook 15 owing to its more powerful AMD Ryzen processor and dedicated Nvidia graphics, which outperform the ASUS's less robust Intel i3 CPU and integrated graphics. While both have quality IPS displays and a fair amount of RAM, the ASUS is lighter and slightly more portable, but MSI's superior GPU and CPU will handle demanding software more effectively, despite being heavier and a bit less portable.

The MSI Bravo 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers a balance of resolution and brightness appropriate for everyday tasks like browsing and document editing, but it lacks the wider color gamut needed for precise engineering and design work, and its lower refresh rate isn't ideal for the smooth visuals required in gaming and 3D modeling. The MSI Bravo 15, with better overall screen quality, enhances the user experience in general use scenarios, yet still falls short in professional color accuracy for engineering and design, and the refresh rate is insufficient for the high frame rates desired by gamers and 3D artists. For users whose primary focus is general computing or basic productivity, the MSI Bravo 15 could deliver a more comfortable viewing experience, while those specializing in color-sensitive or high-motion visual work might need to look for alternatives with more specialized displays.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the MSI Bravo 15 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
