Selecting between the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Lenovo Yoga 6, consider these tradeoffs: The Vivobook 15 is more budget-friendly with a larger 15.6-inch screen, but has less storage and memory, and its performance is suited for general use tasks. The Yoga 6, albeit more expensive, offers better performance for engineering and 3D tasks, double the memory and storage, and greater battery life; it's also lighter with a more portable 13.3-inch touchscreen display. If general use and price are priorities, go for the Vivobook; if performance in specialized tasks and portability are key, the Yoga 6 is the better option. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Yoga 6 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15's screen may not be as vibrant due to its limited color coverage, which is crucial for engineering and design tasks that require precise color accuracy, while its standard resolution and brightness may suffice for general activities like web browsing or document editing. The Lenovo Yoga 6, while sharing a similar resolution and brightness useful for general tasks, offers better color accuracy, appealing to users working on design projects needing more true-to-life color representation. However, for immersive 3D experiences in games, neither of these laptops' screens are ideal, as they lack high refresh rates, which are critical for fluid visuals in fast-paced scenes.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers Lenovo Yoga 6 to be only fair for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 and Lenovo Yoga 6 are both considered fair for gaming and 3D applications because they have integrated GPUs which are suitable for less demanding tasks, and both laptops have similar screen refresh rates of 60Hz which can hinder performance in fast-paced games. While the Vivobook has a larger screen, which might be preferable for visual immersion, the Yoga's higher resolution and 2-in-1 convertible design offer better screen quality and versatility, despite its smaller size.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Lenovo Yoga 6 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The AMD R7-7730U in the Lenovo Yoga 6 13 provides a suitable answer to the limited cooling capabilities of a convertible - especially in tablet mode. It draws high computing power from a comparatively limited power supply so that less heat has to be dissipated at the same time."
