When considering the Asus Vivobook 15 and the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, the Asus is more budget-friendly and provides decent performance for everyday tasks with moderate storage and general use-oriented features. However, the Lenovo packs a heftier punch with a much higher price tag, offering superior performance suitable for intensive engineering, 3D rendering, or gaming, thanks to its high-end processor and powerful graphics card. Its screen excels in both resolution and color representation, making it ideal for creative professionals. Both laptops are quite portable, but the Lenovo offers longer battery life and a broader array of ports including Thunderbolt. Go for the Asus if you wish to save money and primarily do general computing, but choose the Lenovo if your work demands high performance and you rely on a visually precise and vibrant display. Meanwhile, the Vivobook 15 has a less robust CPU, one-fourth the memory, integrated graphics which are less suitable for intensive tasks, and a standard IPS panel which provides less color accuracy and contrast compared to the Slim Pro's display.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i boasts a higher resolution and brighter display, making it superior for general use where clarity and visibility are paramount. Its wide color gamuts provide precise color representation, essential for engineering and design tasks that demand color accuracy. However, for gaming and 3D applications that benefit from fast refresh rates, both the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i fall short, as their focus on resolution and color accuracy comes at the expense of the smoother visuals provided by higher refresh rates.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is an impressive laptop with a brilliant Mini-LED display, a powerful 100-watt version of Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, and excellent connectivity. Having run the Cinebench benchmark again, we were impressed with the CPU performance. That makes the Slim Pro 9i is an easy recommendation, especially for those who care about GPU and CPU performance. It’s also a fantastic choice if you frequently view HDR movies and games on your laptop."
