As you're considering between the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro, think about your primary needs. If you prioritize high performance for gaming or demanding tasks and don't mind a heavier laptop, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro is a strong choice. However, it may come with a heftier price tag and reduced battery life due to its powerful hardware. On the other hand, if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option that offers good performance for everyday tasks and is easier to carry around, the ASUS Vivobook 15 might be more suitable, though it won't match the Legion's performance for intensive tasks. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is very good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion 7i Pro is very good for general use because it has a superior CPU, more RAM, and a higher quality screen, enhancing performance and visuals for a variety of tasks. However, the ASUS Vivobook 15, while fair for general use, offers better portability due to its lighter weight and smaller dimensions but compromises on battery life and screen quality in comparison.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is excellent for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook 15, while suitable for casual gaming and 3D tasks, lacks a high-end GPU and the screen refresh rate needed for advanced gaming, which the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i provides, offering a smoother and more immersive experience. While both have capable CPUs and screen quality that enhances the overall performance and visual clarity, it's the Legion Pro 7i's superior graphics capabilities that make it a standout for gaming and professional 3D work.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers a balance in panel type, resolution, and brightness suitable for everyday tasks, but it falls short in color accuracy and the level of detail needed for engineering and design; its lower refresh rate is a significant drawback for 3D applications where smooth motion is critical. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i delivers sharp and vibrant visuals that cater to both general use and professional engineering and design work thanks to its high-resolution display and wide color coverage, but for gaming and 3D, it doesn't provide the ultra-smooth motion that comes from a higher refresh rate. Ultimately, the Vivobook 15 serves well for basic use at a lower cost, while the Legion Pro 7i is the better choice for tasks demanding color precision and clarity, albeit at a higher price.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."
