The ASUS Vivobook 15 is a more budget-friendly option and offers better value if you're looking to save money. It has a slightly larger screen and a longer battery life, which makes it suitable for everyday tasks and general use. However, it uses an older processor and has less RAM than the Jumper 14" Laptop, which means it may not be as fast, especially for more intensive tasks. The Jumper, while more expensive, includes more storage and more RAM, which can be beneficial for engineering applications or multitasking. It's also lighter and thinner, potentially making it better for portability. Neither laptop is particularly well-suited for demanding 3D tasks, machine learning, or gaming due to their entry-level graphics capabilities. If price is a primary concern and your needs are basic, the ASUS could be a great choice, but if you require more power and portability and are willing to pay more, then the Jumper would be preferable. The ASUS Vivobook 15 has a better screen than the Jumper 14" Laptop for general use, software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Jumper 14" Laptop have displays that offer an acceptable balance of resolution and brightness, making them conducive to everyday activities like browsing and video streaming, but they may not stand out in terms of crispness and color vibrancy. In the realm of engineering and design, professionals may find the color accuracy and range lacking since neither laptop offers wide color gamuts, which are critical for tasks that demand true-to-life color representation, such as photo editing or CAD work. When it comes to 3D and gaming, the lower refresh rates of these laptops could lead to less fluid visual experiences, and while the resolutions are adequate, they don't provide the high definition desired by many gaming enthusiasts.

The ASUS Vivobook 15 and Jumper 14" Laptop are both poor for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers better performance for gaming and 3D applications primarily because it has a more capable GPU than the Jumper 14" Laptop, despite both having the same screen refresh rate. Additionally, the Vivobook's CPU is somewhat more powerful, which along with its GPU, somewhat mitigates its lower screen pixel density compared to the Jumper.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers ASUS Vivobook 15 to be only fair for engineering and design, while the Jumper 14" Laptop is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 has an Intel i3 processor and 8 GB of RAM, which provides fair CPU and RAM for engineering and design tasks, while the Jumper 14" Laptop's Intel Celeron processor and integrated graphics are less suited, making it poor for such demands. Both have decent screen quality with IPS panels, but the Vivobook's slightly larger screen and better processor make it more appropriate for intensive applications than the Jumper, which, although more portable, compromises performance and screen size.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Jumper 14" Laptop compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"For the vast majority of people looking for a beautiful, affordable, and portable laptop, the Jumper EZbook S5 is a perfect choice. It’s surprisingly capable of things like web browsing, Office, webmail, and beyond. The experience offers a few compromises when it comes to more intensive tasks, but for college students looking to save money, or someone looking to buy their kid a basic daily-use laptop, this is truly one great option."
