The ASUS Vivobook 15 is less expensive, lighter and more portable, making it suitable for basic tasks like web browsing and office work. The HP Omen 15, while pricier, has significantly better performance for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, thanks to its higher-end processor and graphics card. It also boasts a larger storage, more memory, and a longer battery life compared to the Vivobook. Choose the Vivobook for value and casual use or the Omen for performance-heavy applications, keeping in mind the Omen's additional cost and weight. Give Feedback

The HP Omen 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook's screen is adequate for everyday tasks because of its satisfactory resolution and decent brightness, but it may not be the best choice for design professionals or engineers who rely on color accuracy provided by wide color gamuts. The HP Omen, while not tailored for the high refresh rates desired for smooth 3D experiences, offers better color reproduction and a generally more vibrant display, making it more suitable for general use and particularly for those in engineering and design who need to see accurate colors. However, both laptops' screens fall short for gaming and 3D applications that benefit significantly from high refresh rates, which neither model offers.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"We consider around 1,260 Euros (~$1530) for a Ryzen 7 4800H, a GeForce RTX 2060, a 512 GB SSD and 16 GB dual-channel RAM to be a good offer that appeals to price-conscious gamers. Very high details are rarely a problem in the native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. Buyers will also be spoiled with a top-notch battery life that even beats most other notebook classes. If HP now improves the speed of the WLAN module, the stability of the case and the repeatedly criticized picture quality, the competition will have to dress extra warmly."
