The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers affordability and is suitable for everyday use, with a weight and design that makes it easy to carry around, but it may not handle intensive engineering tasks or high-end gaming as well as other options. On the other hand, the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R is designed for performance, featuring powerful hardware that can handle demanding engineering software, machine learning tasks, and gaming, but with a higher price tag and possibly a shorter battery life due to the powerful components. It may also be heavier, making it less portable than the ASUS Vivobook 15. Choose the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R for high-performance needs or the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use and portability at a lower cost. Give Feedback

The Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
While the ASUS Vivobook 15 with an Intel i3 processor, integrated graphics, and a 1080p display may deliver satisfactory performance for engineering and design tasks, the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R's more powerful Intel i7 processor, Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, and higher resolution display provide a substantial boost in performance and screen quality for these intensive tasks. Additionally, the Mech-15 G3R has double the RAM, a larger and faster storage option, and improved thermal management which includes water cooling, potentially offsetting its slightly higher weight and less portable design compared to the Vivobook 15.

The Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers adequate resolution and brightness for daily tasks, but its limited color gamut doesn't suit professional design work and its modest refresh rate hampers gaming experiences. The Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R, with a higher resolution and better brightness, enhances general and design work due to its superior color representation, yet for gaming, the refresh rate, while acceptable, is not the top tier that enthusiasts look for. Both laptops have display qualities that match certain tasks—Vivobook for casual use and Mech-15 for design work—but gamers seeking smooth motion should look elsewhere.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"Everything considered, the XMG Neo 15 (Mech-15 G3R) with RTX 3070 Ti is a great gaming performer. The combination of the Ti graphics card with the new Intel 12th gen CPU is enough to go toe-to-toe, and even slightly pull ahead of the RTX 3080 in most titles, though on games with Ray-Tracing enabled, particularly with graphics set to the maximum and on higher resolutions, the additional VRAM of the RTX 3080 makes a big impact, and the 8GB RTX 3070 Ti machine simply can’t compete, even with the more powerful processor."
