For intensive tasks such as engineering or 3D modeling, the Dell XPS 13 Plus, with its more powerful processor, more RAM, and higher resolution OLED touchscreen display, may provide better performance and a superior visual experience. However, it is significantly more expensive and has a smaller screen size. The ASUS Vivobook 15 is more budget-friendly, offers a larger screen, and includes a number pad, but has a less powerful processor, less RAM, and a lower-resolution non-touch display, which may limit performance in demanding applications. The XPS 13 Plus also boasts longer battery life, making it more suitable for use on the go despite its higher cost. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is only fair for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better performance in gaming and 3D due to its more capable Intel Iris Xe graphics compared to the ASUS Vivobook 15's basic Intel UHD graphics, which are less powerful for these tasks. Additionally, the Dell boasts a superior OLED screen which enhances screen quality, even though both laptops share the same screen refresh rate, making the XPS 13 Plus a better choice for gaming and 3D use.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Dell XPS 13 Plus offers a higher resolution and better brightness, making text sharper and content vivid, enhancing overall viewing comfort, whereas the ASUS Vivobook 15 provides adequate display features that suffice for everyday tasks but may not be as striking. In terms of engineering and design, the Dell's superior color accuracy and wider color gamuts support more precise visual work, such as photo editing or CAD software, which can be essential for professionals, while the ASUS delivers a satisfactory color range for less demanding design tasks. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops' screens have limitations due to lower refresh rates, impacting smoothness and responsiveness, although they may still handle less graphics-intensive games or basic 3D modeling.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
