The ASUS Vivobook 15 is less expensive and has a larger screen, making it suitable for general use and media consumption. However, it offers lower performance compared to the Dell Latitude 5330, which has more storage, more memory, and a faster main processor, making it better for engineering and intensive tasks. The Latitude also has a better battery life, higher build quality, and more ports for connectivity but is more expensive and comes with a smaller screen. If you value performance and battery life for mobility and can invest more, the Dell Latitude 5330 is a better choice; otherwise, for everyday tasks and to save money, the ASUS Vivobook 15 is a solid option. The Dell Latitude 5330 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for content creation, and software development.
For general use, both the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Dell Latitude 5330 offer screens that provide an adequate visual experience with satisfactory resolution and brightness, but they may not have premium panel types which enhance the viewing clarity and color. In engineering and design fields, users require accurate color representation; these models offer fairness in this aspect but may lack the full range of color gamuts necessary for the highest precision work. When it comes to 3D applications and gaming, these laptops fall short as their refresh rates are not high enough to render fast-moving images seamlessly, and while they have a decent resolution and panel type, they are not tailored for high-performance visual demands.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers Dell Latitude 5330 to be only fair for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Dell Latitude 5330 are fair for gaming and 3D as they both have integrated graphics, which are less powerful than dedicated GPUs, and a standard screen refresh rate that is adequate but not optimal for high-frame-rate gaming. The Vivobook 15 uses Intel UHD Graphics with a 15.6-inch screen while the Latitude 5330 employs Intel Iris Xe Graphics with a slightly sharper but smaller 13.3-inch display, the latter likely to deliver better visual quality and slightly higher performance.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Dell Latitude 5330 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
