The ASUS Vivobook 15 is a budget-friendly option and is significantly less expensive than the Dell Inspiron 15 3530, which might allow you to save money if you're looking for basic functionality. However, the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 offers better performance with a more powerful processor and graphics, more storage, and more RAM, which could be crucial if you need to run more demanding applications for work or studies. The Dell also offers a higher-refresh-rate display, potentially making it a better choice for smoother visuals in tasks such as video editing or light gaming. Bear in mind, though, that higher performance laptops like the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 can be more costly, so if your computer usage is limited to general tasks like web browsing, using office apps, and media consumption, the ASUS Vivobook 15 could serve your needs well and be more cost-effective. Both are similar in terms of portability, with the ASUS being slightly heavier. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 15 3530 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, both the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 offer screens that are sufficient in terms of resolution and brightness, but they might not stand out due to average panel types that do not offer exceptionally vivid colors or viewing angles. When it comes to engineering and design, where accurate color reproduction across a wide spectrum is crucial, these laptops may fall short as they likely don't cover advanced color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB fully. For gaming and 3D tasks, the importance of higher refresh rates for smooth visuals is not addressed well by these models, and while resolution and panel type are adequate, the overall experience for fast-paced visuals may be lacking.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
