The ASUS Vivobook 15 is a budget-friendly laptop with a larger 15.6-inch screen, but it offers modest storage and an entry-level i3 processor, suitable for basic tasks like web browsing, office applications, and media consumption. Its portability is decent, albeit heavier than some competitors, and it has a battery life sufficient for a few hours of use.
The Dell Inspiron 14 7435, on the other hand, has a smaller 14-inch touch-enabled display with a higher resolution, providing a more compact form factor and is more portable. It boasts a considerably larger storage capacity, double the memory, and a higher-end AMD Ryzen processor, making it much better suited for intensive tasks such as engineering software, 3D rendering, and machine learning applications. Additionally, it has superior battery life, ensuring longer use on a single charge.
If affordability and a larger screen are your priorities, the ASUS Vivobook 15 could be appealing, whereas if you need more power for demanding tasks, prefer a touch-enabled higher resolution screen, and don't mind spending more, the Dell Inspiron 14 7435 would be the better choice. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook 15 has a better screen than the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 for general use, while the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 and Dell Inspiron 14 7435 have screen specifications that meet the needs of everyday tasks and productivity software, providing adequate sharpness, brightness, and color for activities like web browsing, document editing, and video streaming. For engineering and design, where precise color representation is vital, both laptops offer fair color accuracy, but may not fully cover professional color gamuts, making them less suitable for high-end creative work that demands a broad spectrum of colors. When it comes to gaming and 3D applications, the importance of a high refresh rate for smooth motion and responsiveness is not a strength for either model, while their resolution and panel technology may not fully support the depth and clarity desired for immersive gaming experiences.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
