Choosing between the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 depends on your needs. The Vivobook 15 is a more budget-friendly option with decent performance for general use, a larger screen but more weight, and a lower-resolution display. If you prioritize portability, higher-resolution touchscreen display, better battery life, and significantly superior performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or engineering, despite the higher price, the Zenbook Flip S13 would be the preferable option. However, the Vivobook 15 could be adequate for everyday tasks like browsing, office applications, and media consumption, especially if cost is a major concern. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15's screen may not have the high resolution, panel type, or brightness that makes the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 stand out for general use and engineering tasks, where clear, vibrant imagery is essential. The Zenbook Flip S13 likely offers better color accuracy, with greater coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, which is significant for professionals in engineering and design who need precise color representation for their work. However, both the Vivobook 15 and Zenbook Flip S13 fall short for gaming and 3D applications, mainly due to lower refresh rates that fail to deliver the smooth visuals critical in these areas.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip is an ultra-sleek 2-in-1 convertible. A gorgeous OLED screen and lightweight magnesium chassis make this convertible a traveller’s dream. Its SSD isn’t fast, but it won’t hold you back in everyday use. Its battery life also isn’t class leading, but it’s hardly off the pace. Overall, the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED holds its head high in the premium convertible category and is a smaller alternative to the Spectre x360 13.5 and the Yoga 9i Gen 7."
