If portability and higher-quality visuals are your priority, the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 with its OLED display, lighter weight, and compact size could be the better choice. Although it tends to be more expensive, it offers good battery life and performance for a mix of general usage and more demanding tasks like engineering or 3D applications. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more budget-friendly option and prioritize a larger screen, the ASUS Vivobook 15 could suit you well despite its lower battery life, with satisfactory performance for everyday tasks and casual use. Both laptops have the same amount of RAM and are not the best fit for intensive gaming. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 is good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 has a higher-performing CPU and a more powerful integrated GPU compared to the ASUS Vivobook 15, making it better suited for demanding engineering and design tasks; added to that, the Pro 14 boasts superior screen quality with OLED technology and higher resolution, which enhances visual clarity and color accuracy for detailed work. However, the Vivobook 15 offers a larger screen and may have a slight edge in portability given its larger size, though both models have comparable battery life and similar considerations for keyboard, speaker quality, and operating noise.

The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 has an adequate display with reasonable resolution and brightness, making it satisfactory for everyday tasks like browsing and document editing, yet it falls short for engineering due to limited color accuracy and range. The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14, with its higher resolution and superior color gamuts, offers more vivid and precise visuals essential for engineering and design work. However, both laptops lack the high refresh rates necessary for smooth visuals in gaming and 3D applications, where fluid motion is crucial.

The ASUS Vivobook 15, with an Intel i3 processor and basic integrated graphics, is suitable for everyday tasks, but the less powerful CPU might struggle with more demanding applications; its screen is of decent quality, which is fine for general use, though battery life is average. Meanwhile, the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 offers a more robust Intel i5 processor and better-integrated graphics, enhancing performance for more intensive tasks, and features a high-quality OLED screen, but it is slightly less portable due to a heavier build, yet compensates with a longer-lasting battery. Both laptops have sufficient RAM for typical usage, but the Vivobook Pro 14 emerges as a more potent option, especially for tasks involving visuals thanks to its superior display.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The Asus Vivobook Pro 14 OLED is a Pantone Validated laptop that packs a lot of processing power. The Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED's highlight is its outstanding display: Featuring a 3K resolution in the 16:10 format and nearly a 100% coverage of the Display P3 color space, the display hardly leaves anything to be desired. The Asus laptop also shows impeccable rates in terms of general system performance. Combined with long battery life, low noise emissions, and relatively good speakers, the laptop can be recommended to users who can accept compromises in terms of connectivity."
