The decision between the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 largely depends on your specific needs and budget. If you require a laptop for more intensive tasks such as photo editing, video production, or gaming, the ASUS Vivobook 15 offers superior performance and larger screen size at a higher price. On the other hand, if your needs are more basic, like browsing the web, using office applications, or streaming media, and you appreciate lower cost and easier portability, the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is a smaller, more affordable option with the trade-off of lower performance capabilities. Battery life also tends to be longer in less powerful laptops, so the Go 12 may have that advantage over the Vivobook 15, which is something to consider if you are often on the move. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 offers a balance suitable for general use with decent panel type, resolution, and brightness, making it easier on the eyes during varied tasks, but it lacks the wider color gamut and higher refresh rate demanded by engineering applications and modern gaming. While the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 might appeal due to its portability and lower price, its compromised screen attributes lead to a less satisfactory visual experience across all use cases, struggling with clarity and color accuracy for professional work and not providing the smoothness required for gaming. For the discerning user, factors like these make the Vivobook 15 a more versatile choice, though still not ideal for specialized tasks that rely heavily on top-tier visual fidelity or ultra-fast display performance.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
