The ASUS Vivobook 14 offers a more budget-friendly option, with a smaller screen ideal for portability, though it provides less storage and RAM than the Dell Inspiron 16 5625, which may impact multitasking and data-heavy work. The Dell, although slightly higher in price, supplies more processing power and a larger, higher resolution screen which could benefit prolonged work sessions; plus, it includes a touchscreen for versatility. The Dell also claims longer battery life, which is convenient if you're often mobile. For demanding tasks like 3D modeling, machine learning, or engineering, the Dell's better specs could provide smoother performance, but for everyday use, the lighter ASUS might suffice. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 14 is only fair.
The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 offers stronger performance with its higher RAM and a more powerful CPU than the ASUS Vivobook 14, which translates to smoother multitasking and better handling of more demanding applications. While both laptops have decent screen quality and IPS panels, the Dell's slightly larger screen and higher resolution may provide a better visual experience; however, it’s heavier and has a larger physical size, which may affect portability compared to the ASUS Vivobook 14.

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 is good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 14 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 14, with lesser RAM and a less powerful Intel i5 processor, fares as fair for engineering and design tasks, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5625's superior AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, double the RAM, and a larger, higher resolution screen, contributes to its good performance in those areas. Additionally, the Dell's larger size may impact its portability, but it offers a better overall screen quality and more power for demanding tasks, which could justify the tradeoff for users prioritizing engineering and design capabilities.

If you're focusing on general use, both the ASUS Vivobook 14 and Dell Inspiron 16 5625 offer screens that deliver sufficient resolution and brightness, making them suitable for daily tasks like browsing and video streaming. For engineering and design, however, while acceptable, their displays lack the wider color gamuts professionals often need for precise color work. How the ASUS Vivobook 14 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
