For a balance of performance and value, the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 is a strong contender, offering robust gaming and engineering capabilities with its Ryzen 9 processor and RTX 4070 GPU, at a lower price point than the MSI. Its 144Hz refresh rate and 127.34 nits of brightness make it suitable for fast-paced gaming and general use. However, it's less portable due to its larger size and weight, and the screen lacks touch capability. On the other hand, the MSI Creator 16 AI Studio is a premium choice designed for content creation and high-end tasks, featuring a vibrant Mini LED display with a higher resolution and color accuracy, which is ideal for professionals who need a color-critical screen. The Creator 16 also boasts superior battery life and portability, making it a better option for those who are frequently on the move. Its touchscreen and higher PPI contribute to a more immersive and interactive experience. However, these premium features come at a higher cost, and the laptop may exceed the needs and budget of the average user. Consider the ASUS for its cost-effectiveness and strong performance in gaming and engineering tasks, especially if you don't need the utmost portability or a high-resolution touchscreen display. Opt for the MSI if you prioritize display quality, color accuracy, and portability, and are willing to invest in a high-end machine tailored for creative workloads. Give Feedback

Alex Iliev | April 2022
"There is one big question that needs an answer. Is the TUF Gaming A17 FA707 a better purchase than the ROG Strix G17 G713R (2022)? Well, it depends. Undoubtedly, the Strix is the more premium product. Arguably the biggest advantage it has over its TUF fellow is in regards to the display. ASUS TUF Gaming A17 A707’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio."
