The ASUS TUF Gaming A17 offers a robust performance for gaming, 3D work, and engineering tasks due to its higher-end processor and dedicated graphics card. It's more expensive but suitable for intensive tasks. However, it's heavier, which makes it less portable. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is more affordable and lighter, making it easier to carry around but less capable for demanding software as it uses integrated graphics and has a less powerful processor. Its battery is also smaller, potentially resulting in shorter usage times between charges, but it's a practical choice for general usage and basic productivity tasks. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming A17 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" is good.
The ASUS TUF Gaming A17 offers strong performance with its higher-end CPU and more RAM, making it more suitable for demanding applications, alongside a gaming-grade GPU which enhances its versatility for both general use and gaming, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" has a modest CPU and less RAM, making it adequate for general tasks but not as equipped for intensive multitasking or gaming; however, its lighter weight and lower operating noise make it a more portable and quieter option for everyday use. Screen quality in both laptops is quite comparable with IPS panels, but the ASUS leads in battery life for longer use away from an outlet, though its heavier build hampers portability compared to the leaner and quieter Lenovo.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" compare to other laptops
"There is one big question that needs an answer. Is the TUF Gaming A17 FA707 a better purchase than the ROG Strix G17 G713R (2022)? Well, it depends. Undoubtedly, the Strix is the more premium product. Arguably the biggest advantage it has over its TUF fellow is in regards to the display. ASUS TUF Gaming A17 A707’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" defies expectations. Indeed, it is just a minor upgrade over last year. However, this doesn’t make the laptop any less terrific. It’s got a great performance, courtesy of the Ryzen 5x25U processors. In addition, you get a pretty good battery life. Perhaps, the 2-hour decrease in video playback, compared to last year is not great, but still, 10 hours of Web browsing and 7 hours of video playback is okay for 17-inch notebooks."
