If you prioritize performance for tasks like 3D work or gaming, the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 with its higher-end graphics card might be the better choice but bear in mind that it also comes with a higher price and weighs more, which may impact its portability. On the other hand, if you prefer something lighter and less costly, the HP Omen 16 could suit you well, although its graphics performance and screen size are slightly less impressive compared to the ASUS. Both laptops are aimed at gaming, with high refresh rate screens, though the HP Omen 16's screen refresh rate is higher which can be a plus for fast-paced gaming. The ASUS has a larger screen, which could be more engaging for media consumption and immersive gaming but at the expense of being bulkier. If battery life is important to you, both models support gaming and general use, but exact battery performance will vary depending on usage. Give Feedback

How the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 and the HP Omen 16 compare to other laptops
"There is one big question that needs an answer. Is the TUF Gaming A17 FA707 a better purchase than the ROG Strix G17 G713R (2022)? Well, it depends. Undoubtedly, the Strix is the more premium product. Arguably the biggest advantage it has over its TUF fellow is in regards to the display. ASUS TUF Gaming A17 A707’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio."
"The Omen 16 has proven to be a fairly good mid-range gaming laptop with all-around improvements compared to the Omen 15. The high overall performance level across all use cases, the long battery life, and the good FHD display constitute the main advantages of this HP laptop. The main drawbacks are the faulty touchpad (one-off?) and the high latencies that can be observed even after just opening the browser. Furthermore, the useless, preinstalled 30-day trial versions of various software also fall under the category "unnecessary"."
