For better performance in tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 stands out with its potent AMD processor and dedicated GPU, at a higher price point and it includes gaming laptop features. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life than the Dell Inspiron 16 5620, which is more budget-friendly, lighter, and offers silent operation with a longer battery life for general use. Both have the same screen size and resolution, but the ASUS may have an edge in color precision and refresh rate, a consideration for those engaging in graphics-intensive tasks. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 is only fair.
The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 provides better gaming and 3D performance primarily because of its AMD RX 7600S GPU, which is more capable than the Dell Inspiron 16 5620's integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, and it also boasts a higher screen refresh rate for smoother visuals.

The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 and Dell Inspiron 16 5620 are both good for engineering and design, though the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is somewhat better.
The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is well-suited for engineering and design due to its robust AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and dedicated AMD RX 7600S GPU, which offer strong performance for computational tasks and graphics rendering, as well as its high-quality IPS display with a refresh rate that makes for smoother visuals. In comparison, the Dell Inspiron 16 5620, though still suitable for engineering with an Intel i5 CPU and Iris Xe integrated graphics, offers less graphical power but benefits from better portability and virtually silent operation, making it a better choice for on-the-go professionals who value a quieter environment.

The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
When selecting a laptop, consider the ASUS TUF Gaming A16, which offers a well-balanced screen that provides a clear and bright display for everyday tasks and is suitable for engineering tasks due to its wide color gamut, enhancing detail and color accuracy. However, its lower refresh rate may detract from the gaming and 3D modeling experience where smoother motion and quicker response times are key. Conversely, the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 provides an adequate display for both general use and engineering with sufficient clarity and color representation, yet it falls short for gaming and 3D purposes for similar reasons as the ASUS, primarily the less optimal refresh rate.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 compare to other laptops
"The A16 makes an excellent case against more expensive laptops like the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and the MSI Katana GF76, especially if you’re into 1080p gaming. However, although its affordable, it doesn’t skimp on performance or a robust chassis. But for me, the biggest factor that sets it apart from these options is its incredible battery life. In my time reviewing laptops, I can’t remember when I last saw a gaming laptop lasted 11 and a half hours on a single charge, which makes the A16, in my book, truly outstanding."
"If the world is exciting enough right now, you can do far worse than a solid performer that you know will get the job done. Our review model is as powerful as you'd want an office machine to be unless you're performing specialist tasks and the price point is pretty attractive (unless work will let you have a MacBook Air instead)."
