If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is less expensive and offers solid performance for general use and gaming. However, the Razer Blade 15, while more costly, provides higher performance with a better graphics card, making it a better choice for demanding tasks like 3D work, machine learning, or high-end gaming. Additionally, the Razer Blade features a higher resolution display for sharper visuals. Both laptops have similar battery life and portability, though the ASUS may have a slight edge in battery longevity and the Razer Blade is a bit thinner and lighter. Consider the Razer if you need peak performance and are willing to invest more, but choose the ASUS if you're looking for value with good performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming. The Razer Blade 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is good.
The Razer Blade 15 is particularly well-suited for engineering and design due to its superior main processor and graphics card—key for computations and visual rendering—alongside a high-resolution display which enhances detail and workspace, factors crucial for precise design work. In contrast, the ASUS TUF Dash 15, while offering a robust processor and graphics card adequate for many engineering tasks, presents a lower screen resolution which may impact the detail and space available for design applications, yet it delivers a bit more battery life and similar build quality, appealing to users needing longer unplugged sessions and a balanced performance-to-cost ratio.

If general use is your primary concern, both the ASUS TUF Dash 15 and the Razer Blade 15 have screens with suitable resolution and brightness, making text, images, and videos look crisp and clear. For engineering and design tasks where color accuracy is critical, these laptops have panels that cover a broad range of colors, ensuring your designs are represented faithfully. However, when it comes to gaming and 3D applications which benefit most from high refresh rates for smooth motion, both laptops fall short, offering a less optimal experience for fast-paced visuals.

How the ASUS TUF Dash 15 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR is a laptop with mobile RTX 3070 and acceptable battery life. The Asus TUF Dash F15 was made for high-performance applications like video editing, rendering, and gaming. The laptop can manage the latter in QHD resolution and at high to maximum settings. However, the focus isn't on maximum performance, but instead, it's about a compromise between performance and portability."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
